It's been ages since we've had anything new from The Heart Strings, so news that there will be a series of singles released in the next year is very welcome. First off is 'Beautiful Abyss', a summery indie/alt-pop track with chiming guitar and snappy beats that's a little bit like a chilled out Field Music. It's out on August 7th via Grandpa Stan, but is also available as a free download for a limited time, so get it before it melts under the warm glare of its own loveliness.
