Double CD reissue of The National's High Violet

The National

The National have revealed they will release an expanded edition of their fifth studio album High Violet on November 22nd.

High Violet: Expanded Edition will be made available as a double-CD package and a digital download. As well as the original eleven-track album, the expanded edition will be packaged with a limited edition bonus disc of eight songs featuring an alternate version of High Violet opening track 'Terrible Love', two brand new songs 'Wake Up Your Saints' and 'You Were A Kindness', b-sides 'Walk Off' and 'Sin-Eaters' plus three live recordings.

The Brooklyn five-piece will also release a 7" single of 'Terrible Love' backed with 'You Were A Kindness' on November 22nd to coincide with the expanded High Violet.
