Tell Your Friends Kings and Creatures 7�

Forget their history as backing band for Jim Noir; this is the real deal. It�s Mancunian psychedelia; the Flaming Lips, Pink Floyd, the Beach Boys, and the Elephant 6 collective all spring to mind, without �Tell Your Friends� sounding like anyone in particular. Neat harmonies and a killer chorus make this a brilliant first release and one that you overlook at your peril. The B-side, �I Used to Work at the Zoo�, with its heavier English freakbeat sound, is pretty fine too.
