The beauty of the �Save Your Face� album is its glorious unpredictability, summed up in the new single which combines jumpy Talking Heads punk-funk with whoopee jazz and even a taste of tango (the rhythm, not the drink). The other side of the single, �Problems With Exits�, is slow/fast Pogues-style gypsy jazz characterised by a piano being battered and a violin sawing away ferociously. To show how cred they are now, there�s even a remix of �We�re Good People� by CSS floating around. Utterly infectious, and only one of a number of brilliant songs on �Save Your Face�, this is further confirmation of their swimming-against-the-tide brilliance.
