The work of Kenneth James Gibson and Brian McBride, ‘Take Us Away’ is an epic of widescreen psychedelic Americana, adding folky touches to its skysoaring chamber-pop arrangements. The sincerity of the song evokes an almost gospel feel, making you think that this would be perfect for festival crowds at sunset, buoyed by the anthemic, emotional force of the song.
