Goat
It's Time For Fun Rocket Recordings

Article written by Kev W - Jul 8, 2015

'It's Time For Fun', they say, and judging by this joyous little psych track, Goat had plenty of fun when making it. Driven by a repetitive bassline and jittery beat, there's a lot of thought and inventiveness going on beneath those chanted, almost creepy in a strangely alluring way, vocal cries. Surprisingly summery for a track recorded in the Swedish winter, you can certainly become absorbed by the song's magnetic attraction.

With odd percussive bleeps popping up, unusual synth (possibly) sounds appearing and then vanishing again, Goat have essentially laid a bed of sound and then sprinkled it with whatever noises seemed to fit/work/land there by accident. This is defiantly free-willed, and definitely best listened to with a decent set of headphones for maximum effect.
