Hurricane #1
Think Of The Sunshine Tapete Records, download only

Well, this is a blast from the past! Reformed by Alex Lowe after his battle with cancer (their third album, due on 20 November, was written during his treatments), it picks up the band’s story where they left off and even Andy Bell has returned to play on the lead off single. This is joyful and catchy big-sounding indie-rock, full of jangly guitars and a chorus that cries out for audience participation, plus a guitar solo straight from the Noel Gallagher playbook. It’s retro without any pretension to novelty and mourners for those heady 90s Britpop days will be delighted to see new life in an old band. A tour follows the album in 2016.
