A Woman Is Like A Man Tip Top Recordings

Classic heartland Americana from the Kansas-raised, Chicago-resident sisters. Rootsy and bluesy, with wailing slide guitar tossing off sorrowful notes, it wrings out the emotion in Renee’s and Grace’s soulful voices and shares a feel with first album Alabama Shakes. The comparison in the title is a little wayward, though; if a woman has to bark and bite to be like a man, you’re probably romancing the wrong species.
