The Kuhls are sisters Renee and Grace, raised in Kansas and living in Chicago. Their first single ‘Leaving the Prairie’ is twangy, thrashy country-tinged rock’n’roll with a growling rhythm and reverby lap slide guitar, like the Rolling Stones in their country phase. It’s simple but direct and refreshing.
